The One

I love this song! I wrote this as I thought of all the first times that my son would have - and I was more than a little jealous of him for it!

Stylistically, it's British-Invasion meets Punk, with a honky tonk piano break thrown in for good measure! Mark Slaughter's hectic guitar lead completes the fun, energetic, and slightly over the top feel for what I consider the strongest single on the album. That's Mark singing all those layers of harmonies and la las in there too!
