THE STORY BEHIND THE SONG: I wrote the first half of the first verse about 6 years ago then filed it away. When I began writing new music for this CD in May 2011 I began going through my stack of legal pads for songs I started and came across this verse. After reading it again it was as if I found the key to unlock the rest of the song because it just poured out. I realized as I was writing it I was describing me. I must have subconsciously felt the need to define who I am to my producers with this song.
