THE STORY BEHIND THE SONG: This was the first song I wrote that broke a dry spell where I didn’t write for almost 2 years after I moved to Texas from Colorado. I wanted to have some new music too to play in my artist showcase back in April 2011. It is a test to cross over into a more modern country feel than what I had written before, and the ice breaker for all the new music I wrote for this album.
