THE STORY BEHIND THE SONG: A friend of mine told me of the time she went to her sons’ wedding. She drove into the parking lot and noticed he was sitting in his car way in the back. Concerned, she pulled up next to him and they sat there in silence looking at each other. She then said “son, whatever you decide to do today just know I will always be your mother and I love you no matter what happens!” With that she got out of her car and went inside. He eventually came in and I believe is still married to this day. I wanted to write about that moment of doubt we put ourselves through.
