A reimagining of an older song of mine. This story takes place in southern Texas and tells the tale of Ramona a girl who’s clearly the talk of the town however, the storyteller makes it perfectly clear that won’t heed anybody’s warning about her before entering this rebound love affair. With a 3-2 New Orleans style clave in its blood, Ramona features a searing slide solo reminding folks that Duane Allman got his start at legendary FAME studios.
