Tropic of Cancer
There are runes carved in rock
That no one understands
Strange circles in cornfields
Did cloaked spaceships land?

A disappeared people
Left cities behind
A hundred ton statues
Moved miles so they find

  The mysteries are many
  In this strange, lovely world
  But none that could match
  The ones that unfurled

When you walked up to me
  Naked and bleeding, so bold
  Brash and uncertain, hands cold
  Hiding great secrets untold
You held all the cards I did fold

If you travel at light speed
You can never go home
In a room full of people
You can be so alone

Dream in bright colors
Of worlds far away
Read peoples' minds
The words they will say

  The questions are many
  Answers are few
  You look for the meaning
Of the quest thrown at you

From the look in her eyes
  Naked and bleeding, so bold
  Brash and uncertain, hands cold
  Hiding great secrets untold
You held all the cards I did fold

If you walk on the water
Millions will pray
Say you've been to the mountain
Give freedom its' day

Compose sacred texts
Divinely inspired
Descend into hell
And put out the fire
