I’ve had a good Ride

When the sun came up it warmed the streets of the black hills
The sky was blue and the air crawled through open window sills
Just let me take it all in and soak up the moments again

We all met on the side of the street down in Martin
A hot cup of coffee and something to eat was calling
Before we saddle up and go we set down and take it slow

It ain’t all about if ya get there fast
Sometimes just take it slow and make the moments last
Take it all in... again and again
Don’t read all the writings left on the wall,
It's more about getting up whenever you fall

When you reach the other side shout it out..Ive had a good ride.


Ive never seen the good side of the badlands
Sturgis has called me to come back and visit my old friends
So I answer with a smile and a hunger to go wild

We’ll have more good times than the law will allow
As we roll away our spirit settles down
Not knowing what lies round the bend, I just know I don’t want this to end.
