Max's thoughts on this piece:
This piece of music was written for my friend Kaya who was feeling lonely in her first semester of university during the COVID pandemic. I wrote this to provide her solace and a feeling of hope. On an album of 12 original compositions, this is the only piano piece, and is in fact the first piece of music I ever finished on piano.
