Mardi Gras

This is a fun and energetic song that captures my experience and tells the story of my trip to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. I recorded this song with some dear friends in Nashville, TN. We collaborated on the sound, trying to add rhythmic elements of the second-line parade feel as well as Cajun fiddling aspects to showcase the blend of traditions. Sierra Ferrell really added another level to this song as well, her harmony singing makes it really feel like you could be listening to this on the corner of Frenchman St.
