Walking Through The Valley

I went walking through the valley in the darkness
Trouble was my best friend
Shadows of my sins they’d haunt me
I was wandering in an unknown land
Until I heard the story
About a Savior who died for me
Forgave me of my sins and then
He set my burdens free

So let me tell you ‘bout Jesus
His mercy and His grace
All you gotta do you is call Him
And have a little faith
When you’re lost in that dark valley
And there’s just no hope in sight
Put your trust in Jesus
He’ll lead you to the light

I no longer see the shadow
I no longer feel the pain
My soul has been restored
My Lord washed away the stains
He paid the price for my sinful life
With the blood He shed for me
He took me by the hand
And then He set my spirit free
