Lo and Behold

I was at the grocery store
Minding my own two cents when I saw her there
I tried hard not to stare
I followed her down the aisle
I noticed her all the while I could see her face
My heart began to race

Lo and Behold these moments called Life
They come so fast like the blink of an eye
Lo and Behold these moments they pass
Better take hold or there gone in a flash

She was working at the store
Fixing the shelves just right when she noticed me
I smiled so she could see
She looked right back my way I didn’t know what to say
Then she smiled at me
I stopped and we spoke briefly

She and I just hit it off
Our conversation carried all through the night
Man it just felt so right
The sun began to rise
A new day dawned before me a brand new start
