As with previous tracks Markey is able to more than demonstrate her brilliance as a singer as she once again showcases her talents on a masterfully written uptown Blues. This is a stunning song indeed and has that trademark Jeanette Markey and Eric Latina soulful boastful rollicking lyrics and orchestration that are quite simply jumping. That being said this allows Latina's guitar to stretch out bouncing along duelling with Wickline's impeccable keyboards as they spar with each other with plenty of gusto and bravado. Added to the mix he we have the very obvious big harp sound of one Ronnie Keith Owens and he absolutely smokes the reeds of his harp as he riffs all over the top and the bottom. What a great display of the Mississippi Saxophone it is. Throughout the fore mentioned orchestration and charts feature perfectly with the impeccable rhythm section of drummer Finnie and bassist Marcus. Their contribution cannot be denied whatsoever. Killer Blues for what ever ails you but be assured this one is going to put you on the dance floor and that is the skinny! Peter Merrett- PBS
