A tribute to John Prine's "Angle form Montgomery" but with a bit of a Pink Floyd edge

*** Track 3. - "A Little More I Die (Ode To John Prine)" Written by Jeanette Markey and Eric Latina.
Soaring scrumptious velvety Blues ballad that just floats on gossamer wings as Markey's vocals caress your very soul such is the poignancy of them. Latina's guitar soars to the heavens crying out in pain and ecstasy only to come crashing down in a pathos enthused empathy . This surely is a truly wonderful ode to John Prine and a fitting one of exquisite quality at that. Simply mesmerising playing and a masterclass of the guitar. The rhythm section of Finnie and Marcus has a wonderful soulfulness to it but at the same time a firmness or be it a innate strength that holds so much emotion so as not to fall into a sobbing mess. Wickline once again uses the keyboards in such a way to evoke even more emotions when it would be construed that there were no more to come but he does and combined this is a brilliant example of a incredibly crafted and performed Blues ballad. It doesn't get any better at all. Sublime! Peter Merrett- PBS
