There are few fans of Country and Bluegrass music who have not heard Mac Wiseman. He is an outstanding country vocalist who contributed significantly to the developement of Bluegrass music. His repetoire reflects his musical beginnings in the folk traditions of rural Virginia as well as his extensive experience as a professional country singer sin the forties. These recordings present twenty of his most requested songs, performed in classic Bluegrass style with the help of Arthur "Guitar Boogie" Smith and Shenandoah Cut-Ups trio.
