Biography
Maceman (born November 9, 1970) is a Canadian singer-songwriter and musician. Maceman was born in Brampton, Ontario and grew up in Hamilton, Ontario where he presently resides with his wife and three children.

His primary instrument is the guitar, but he is also proficient at piano, bass, and harmonica. Maceman has a distinctive vocal style charachterized by his soft, air-like delivery and use of multi-tracking to create vocal harmonies.

Innovation and creation are words that describe Maceman's writing style. Influenced by artists such as Cat Stevens, Ron Sexsmith and The Beatles, Maceman's lyrics are eternally poetic containing deep-lying spiritual messages expressing his thoughts and feelings. This reflects his spiritual side and strong faith in God. The emotion he pours into each and every song is born from experience and pain.

Maceman is starting to see the result of hard and persistent work. "I've always known that my music could be enjoyed, but I just wasn't sure how to deliver it" he remarks. "The internet makes the goal obtainable".

Maceman plays with a wealth of musicians worldwide via the internet and has frequented the top 5 on soundclick for the last 2 years as well as many other online forums and venues.

Through the years Maceman has frequented the local music scene. He has been involved in various benefit concerts and folk festivals raising money for the less fortunate. He has performed with several known bands and continues to surround himself with talented artists. The motivation behind maceman's efforts is his desire for continuous improvement.

Album Reviews:

Truly unique.
author: Moe Shukri
In today's society, we are faced with many different types of genres of music; from hip-hop to old folk; country to jazz. This album truly represents a nice blend of everything. Emphasizing on the first track, one you'll really have on repeat! When I first heard it, I was astonished. Trying to put a label on it; "is this jazz or soft rock," I gave up and just enjoyed the smooth moods. Truly unique. You'll find yourself not only loving this track, but wanting to enlighten youself with the rest of the songs available on the album. I am a university undergrad who loves different types of music. However, I am very picky when it comes to jazz-type songs. Either you have it, or you don't. And Maceman has truly hit the spot with his album. I have recommended it to friends, family, grandparents, and even have some requests for air-time on local broadcast stations in my city.
**MY FAV. TOP FIVE** 1.) I'm That Man 2.) High School 3.) How Can I Love You 4.) Fire and Rainfall 5.) Beautiful Day.

Been looking forward to this release!
