Water is Life

We were driving across the New Mexico desert not long ago and I saw, painted in big letters across the side of an adobe structure, WATER IS LIFE.
It made me think....even here in Florida where water has always seemed so abundant, we're facing shortages. We watch the awesome Apalachicola river shrink as its water is being diverted by giant cities upstream.
It could be anywhere, now. Water is Life.
