Biography
Lorraine Davies is amazing singer and songwriter. Her vocals are one of the most unique and powerful around. Whether she is singing country, rock, pop, alternative, or blues, her performance is sure to entertain all those that see and hear her.
Singing for her own entertainment for many years, Davies set out on a singing career several years back.
Starting with a solo CD, she has never looked back. Her first CD, "A Time for Me", is full of never before heard tunes, with Davies writing two of the tunes herself. Other songwriters include Cyril Rawson, Lisa Brokop, and Dean McTaggart. Her first release to European Country Radio went to number one in many countries.
Lorraine performs with her husband in the "Too Drunk to Fish Band" and the duo "Davies and Wayne," as well as her solo efforts.
Lorraine has opened for such artists as Fables, Wednesday, Aaron Lines, Deric Ruttan, and Brian McComas.
She has performed at such reknowned venues as Horseshoe Tavern, Healeys, the Legendary Red Dog Tavern, Merrickville Music Festival, Hillside Hoedown, Stampede Ranch, Brampton Canada Day Festivities, Ajax Waterfront Festival, Whitby Music Festival, the Corral, Beatties in the Country, Dallas City Limits, Wild Stallion, and Tequila Willys.
Everytime someone hears Lorraine sing they ask her, "Why aren't you doing this professionally?"
She replies "I'm working on it! Want to help?"
