Running Back
Running Back is a pop song with a guitar introduction which shares a familiarity in sound and feel to the huge hit "Torn," recorded by another famous Aussie, Natalie Imbruglia.

This is Lori Greco's venture into the field of mainstream pop and tells of a mixed up girl unsure of whether she can accept being loved. Try as she might to fight the temptation to not only fall in love, but also in acting "as cold as ice" to make her man turn away from her, there is "something" about the guy which she can not quite walk away from, that after many attempts at staying away from him, she succumbs to the act of going back to him.

In the chorus of the song she sings in an almost questionable manner, as if being drawn in by a magnet and the forces which bring two people together "Is it the way the way that you want me, is it the way the way that you love me? That keeps me coming, yeah I'm running, Hold on my love 'cos I'm coming back"

The song has almost a 70's feel too and in the bridge section, the harmonies form almost a psychedelic chorus of inner voices that speak when speaking to one self "Is it the way that you love me....." Til finally, boy gets get ...or does he as the guitar strums it's final chord leaving the listener with a question and the percussion fades in the distance. I wonder...
