This song was written as a farewell to two important people in my life. My mother, and Ron Dann, a pedal steel guitar player I met in music college, and worked with for a number of years until his death in 1990. Originally recorded as an a cappella piece on my country album, Caught In The Light, it was also recorded by the award-winning jazz vocal group, Hampton Avenue.

This intimate jazzy gospel version features the wonderful piano playing of Dan Redner and L J Folk's touching vocals.
