Hard to Find the Good Here Anymore
Writer: Donna Ulisse
This old world is runnin' downhill
Sands of time have eaten up the shores
Waters runnin' wild with an ill will
Mountains look like they can barely soar
Makes it hard to find the good here anymore
City streets are crowded with unrest
They're holdin' signs and tearing down the stores
Faith is lost among our very best
Church bells disappear inside the roar
Makes it hard to find the good here anymore
Give me yesterday
When a man could take a stand and defend his ground
Sweet yesterday
When lifting up a neighbor didn't bring you down
I wish life could move around here easy like before
Cause it's hard to find the good here anymore
The cost of livin's staying way too high
Seems like worry's all we can afford
Troubles are an easy thing to buy
So that ain't worth havin' money for
Makes it hard to find the good here anymore
