We made butterflies dance
On the walls until the last light
Holding shadows in our hands
Reflections that kissed the night

Thanks to those who’ve come before
Who’ve stared into the open flames
Leading us up toward the stars
Beneath the lights of change

We shared secrets in the darkness
They came pouring out like a waterfall
And just like some unruly choir
We raised our songs for us / and for all
