Behold The Lamb
I saw the prophet out in the river
He said repent for the kingdom is at hand
And I looked to see who was beside me
It was the carpenter's son a woodworking man
And I thought this cannot be the man
That this preacher is talking about
Then I saw the prophet out in the river
Lift up his eyes and cry a mighty shout
Behold the Lamb, Behold the Lamb, Behold the Lamb
I saw him baptized in the river
Then the spirit descend like a dove
And I knew this was the rock of ages
Then a voice shook the ground from up above
Behold the Lamb, Behold the Lamb, Behold the Lamb
One day I saw him cruicified
The sky drew dark when he bowed his head and died
Our sin was swept away in a flood
Of the king of kings own precious blood
Behold the Lamb, Behold the Lamb, Behold the Lamb
Behold the Lamb, Behold the Lamb, Behold the Lamb
