Our Turn Now
“With his latest track, Our Turn Now, Len Seligman pays a tribute to the trailblazing leaders of the battle against racial discrimination in a beautiful, yet powerful way. With his skillful guitar playing and uplifting vocals, he sends a message of hope, one that we could all use today and always.” – Kurrent Music Blog

OUR TURN NOW, the title track of Seligman's forthcoming January 2021 album, was released as an advance Digital Single. It reached #14 on the Folk Alliance International DJ chart for October 2020. Seligman wrote this song after being moved to tears by a pilgrimage to the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, where John Lewis nearly lost his life fighting for the rights of all. As he said, get into “good trouble, necessary trouble.” It truly is “our turn now” to speak up and act in non-violent ways to create change.

There is a video for this song which includes powerful archival footage of Bloody Sunday: https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=USDWXFSnYoY
