Anthony Catchings - My God Is Worthy

Lamon Records is proud to release My God Is Worthy, the first EP from gospel singer Anthony Catchings.

Catchings is a Maywood, Illinois native and got his start in music singing on the praise team at his hometown church. He began writing music in high school with the encouragement of his mother, who pointed out his God-given talent should be used not just for entertainment, but to bring glory to God. He began singing with groups, performing in talent shows, and taking vocal lessons.
Since then, Catchings has had the opportunity to sing at a tribute show for Mary Mary and CeCe Winans. His debut single, “My God is Worthy,” made waves on local radio stations in 2014, even playing on a radio show hosted by Dorinda Clark.

“When you have purpose and God’s blessing on your life, nothing will get in the way of that,”says Catchings, citing this as his key philosophy. He hopes to drive listeners toward a personal relationship with God through his heartfelt writing. He has a soulful, passionate, refreshing sound that is sure to reach across the nations and share God’s love.

His latest EP, My God Is Worthy, will be released through Lamon Records April 29th . The title track and first single from the project will be released to radio April 18th.
