FORMER WEST VIRGINIA IDOL WINNER’S NEW ALBUM INCLUDES “TAKE ME HOME COUNTRY ROADS”
Nashville, TN (June 14, 2011) – West Virginia’s SWL/RCMP Records artist, KK Miller has a lot to be excited about, as the release of her sophomore album “I’m Ok With Me” is being prepared to launch in her hometown of Hundred, WV on Saturday July 2. The inclusion of her upbeat version of the West Virginia anthem, “Take Me Home Country Roads” is creating a huge buzz that is escalating by the day.
The album’s release is the beginning of a promotional tour throughout West Virginia stopping at radio stations, newspapers, mom and pop record stores and town squares. “This album is a great mix of everything country music has been, is, and will be, says Miller. It has a great songwriter groove with some old country flare! I believe this album has something for everyone.”
KK, a co-writer of many of the songs on the album, also recorded material by other great songwriters. She put her stamp on Tanya Tucker’s “I’ll Come Back As Another Woman” as well as the rowdy Hank Williams, Sr. tune “Honky Tonkin’.”
A video of the free spirited song, “Younger Every Day” is being prepared for a summer release. It will be available on You Tube and other online sights. The album is set to release to all online digital stores in July.
