"This is one of the more contemporary-sounding songs on the album, and it was definitely the most intimidating for me to sing in the studio. It was a stretch from my comfort zone, but I just knew I had to include it. Steve told me all along, 'Don't worry, you'll do great'. I guess his encouragement paid off because I survived it and I am pleased with how it turned out. It's one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard, and the title of the album, "In the Waiting", was taken from the bridge of this song."
