Old Blind Bartimaeus
The crowd was loud but Jesus heard the plea
Old Blind Bartimaeus cried, have mercy Lord on me
Jesus, Jesus I know you're passing by
I cannot see but I believe you can hear my cry
And open blinded eyes

Then the Lord said bring this man to me
The crowd cried Bartimaeus, the Master's calling thee
He cast away his garment, His faith in God was real
He knelt at Jesus' feet and in a moment he was healed
In a moment he was healed

Old blind Bartimaeus was tired of dirt and darkness
And those doubters tried to keep him from the Lord
But he just kept believing, by faith he's be receiving
When he heard Jesus say, Thy faith hath made thee whole

That doubting crowd is still around today
They don't want you to cry out and they don't want you to pray
But in this world of darkness, my friend, if you can't see
When Jesus passes by just cry have mercy Lord on me
Have mercy Lord on me

Old blind Bartimaeus was tired of dirt and darkness
And those doubters tried to keep him from the Lord
But he just kept believing, by faith he's be receiving
When he heard Jesus say, Thy faith hath made thee whole

Thy faith hath made thee whole
