"I knew from the beginning that I wanted to include some songs on the album that speak of biblical stories. This song tells the story of a blind beggar named Bartimaeus, and how Jesus healed him of his blindness. It then relates the story to our life in modern times, and encourages us to cry out to Jesus to be made whole! I think it is a wonderful story and a very well-written song that I feel privileged to have recorded!"
