"This song was brought to me when Steve and I met to decide on our final song selection. He had several demos from writer Kim Williams, and I loved this song from the beginning! I knew it would fit perfectly with the other songs we had already selected. I love that it tells a biblical story, with a modern swing. The names of the disciples being called Bart, Pete, and Jim... I just love how the writers changed it up and made it so interesting. The lines that say "Doubter, denier, betrayer, and some faithful among these" really brought it home to me and made me examine myself. I like that the song can do that, because, as a Christian, I feel there is always room for improvement in my life."
