Come & Take It
Let’s cut the fat and throw the trash out of the kitchen: / A bag of greedy, lying, rotten politicians. / There’s fire in Texas and flames burning ‘cross the nation, / Setting fire to apathetic resignation. // It’s time the Fed discover we know ‘bout the power that they’re taking. / And those that had a hand in all this power thieving should be shaking. / The rights of States are being trampled by this once great nation. / It’s time Big Brother face the music of our Constitution. // We’re tired of watching all the makers of the messes pose as saviors. / Make no mistake about it, it isn’t random chance; it’s met agendas. / The path we’re on is the path which they have chosen. / But the tide is turning on this mass manipulation. // The money changers know that powers held by the purse strings. / And they’ve got their pearl fangs deep in the hearts of all they need. / But there are those who’d stand our ground to fight ‘em, / So let’s unite behind them, for the cause of Liberty. // Concentrated power never fails to lose concern for people’s interest. / And the more the power grows, the less it cares, the more it cries out for new taxes. / But the government that governs least is sure to be the greatest. / And those who forget the past are destined to repeat it. // So Come and Take It if you think you want to try and catch us sleeping. / We’ll send you back to where you came from, but you’re gonna take a beating. / Before you smile and bob your head you should do some thinking. / We’re gonna start off with the wolves dressed in sheep’s clothing. // The money changers know that powers held by the purse strings. / And they’ve got their pearl fangs deep in the hearts of all they need. / But there are those who’d stand our ground to fight ‘em, / So let’s unite behind them, for the cause of Liberty.
