Revolution
Ten beard covered wagons came down from the hills to eat. / With their rosaries a'glow, "Hail Mary!" Fear the virgin saint. / And there were demons in the corner wearing hooded cloaks, / three politicians on the street telling dirty jokes, / and everyone of them scattered when the birds clamoured for their meat! // And all the babies cried for country as their families bloodied up the streets. / Little brother call for Momma, Little Johnny's lost his mangled feet. / And the wagons overtook them as they beat them down, / but a fierce opposition brew in their mouths / and where's a savior when you need one? Come quick, give us hope for peace! // Confusion gather round the shoulders like a blanket from the freezing rain. / Don't let the booze slip from the bottle! "Tell the truth!" Lies can be explained. / That's when the madman from the mountain came running down, / the fear and loathing from his belly came rumbling out, / and all the people stood there laughing, too dumb to even see his pain! // All the victims jumped up shouting, wagging fingers cross their pointy beaks. / And the government delivered quite a show of unyielding faith. / The drunken monkey danced for quarters to the beat of the drum / and all the children gathered close to watch the end go down, / and the silence from the army echoed cold off the lifeless streets! // And you can bury your mother in the hole that you dug last week! / Pass the blame onto your brother, you worthless hack! Fall down on your knees. / And the last thing you'll be hearing as they lay you out, / is the rattle from the wagon wheel circling round. / Since you won't stand up and fight it, numb the pain. Pour another drink!
