Kd Petty is a new an upcoming singer/songwriter on the market....her music crosses country, Pop, Blues and R&B lines...offering the listener a wide variety of musical genres to choose from. "Lay Me Down Slow" is just the first of many exciting releases to come.

" I'm not a trained musician, but musicians have commented that therein lies the beauty of my songwriting...I don't always follow the 'rules' which makes the melodies and lyrics have a richer appeal to the listener, and I hope all who listen enjoy what they hear, but most of all I hope they FEEL what they hear, because I certainly do....everytime I sing a lyric, I feel every word down to my toes".....
