5. JACK HONEY: (3:55) Mid tempo song about intimacy. Nashville-like country with alternative rock styles using slide guitar, drums and a positive fun bar vibe. This is the most commercially produced song on the EP. My goal is to have it in Jack Daniel’s Commercials. Someone I loved moved away to another place and I was left with a void. But I remembered the beauty of everything we experienced. He was the type of guy that had a kick to him. He had it all, looks, money and bad boy charm like Billy the Kid but he had a good heart. I think when we lose ourselves in someone, we are willing to mold ourselves to what we think they want. As mentioned in the lyrics “I’d be your pistol switch”. The things we do for love. Jack Daniel’s Honey Whiskey was the drink he introduced me to and the drink I associate with him always. And just like a shot of whiskey, I wanted a shot with him. A shot for something real.
