Stuck On You

JT & ThunderHill, fronted by Julie Theroux and Chip Cope, are excited to announce the release of their latest single "Stuck On You". The song is an energetic nod at Lionel Richie's hit pop song from 1984. Chip Cope sings lead vocals and plays guitar, mandolin and dobro on the project. Chip says "the tune came to us when we were jamming at a festival last summer, I knew we had to record it because people just loved it." Julie Theroux (JT), sings harmony vocals and plays guitar on the track.

While JT & ThunderHill (JTTH) as a band are a fresh face to the bluegrass world, both Julie and Chip tour with "The New Christy Minstrels Under the Direction of Randy Sparks." The Grammy winning Minstrels perform folk music concerts all over the United States each year. Theroux and Cope, both folk/bluegrass musicians, decided to join forces and take some of the Minstrel Magic to bluegrass stages. Cope's sons Doug, Adam, Ben, and Hampton all take turns performing with the group. Michigan native, Nathan Nisley, plays banjo and guitar for JTTH at many of their shows.

Adam Cope plays banjo and Doug Cope plays upright bass on the single. It was recorded at the legendary Indian Ridge Recording Studios in Delta, Ohio.

JTTH's "Stuck On You" can be found on most popular online platforms for streaming or download. They are appearing in venues and festivals in Ohio, Michigan and Indiana for the 2020 season.
