This is one of two songs on the album about my late grandmother, Honey. She died during the height of the pandemic so only my mom and aunt were able to visit her in the assisted living facility and they were calling family members one at a time to let us say goodbye. Almost immediately after I spoke to her my mom texted to tell me she had passed. And I sat down and this song just came out, pretty much in the form I recorded it.
