My sister is one of my best friends, we’re only a couple years apart and we’ve always been close. Before I moved to Juneau we both lived in Portland, even renting an apartment together for a while. But now she’s in eastern Idaho and I’m up in Alaska so it’s harder to check in on her. I’m the older brother so I worry, even when I’m not doing the best job taking care of myself. I guess I wanted her to have a song so she knows what I’m thinking even when I’m not around.
