Biography
In a world where music has become increasingly superficial and insincere, the music of Josh Burton is a refreshing change.
Trained as a pianist and immersed in the classics, Josh began composing at the age of 10. Drawing from his classical foundation, he took the depth and brilliance he found in the music of the masters to write music for the world today.
Josh's style is passionate, direct, reflective, and has a quality that can only be described as 'meant-to-be.' The timeless nature of his music is illustrated by the fact that it has proved popular with every age group, from children and young teens to parents and grandparents.
On August 26th, 2010, Josh's music premiered in concert for the very first time. The venue was packed. Audience reviews included the expressions, 'wonderful,' 'entertaining,' and even 'freaking amazing.'
In the summer of 2010 Josh also recorded and produced a first album of his own music, entitled Sketches, which was released to public acclaim on Nov. 6, 2010.
