An Eye For An Eye
An Eye For An Eye
Would You believe if you never had courage
Could you perceive without a little guile
An enemy of peace in an age of mediocrity
Through subtle infiltration an often trusted guise
An eye for an eye and the pursuit of degradation
Let’s us blindly embody our issue of segregation
So we all lose faith and covet isolation
They set off on a journey to find a better life
A spirited recovery from worries left behind
But unknown to the settlers the implication lies
They’re the root of nations poverty and the cause of the decline
An eye for an eye and the pursuit of degradation
Let’s us blindly embody our issue of segregation
So we all lose faith and covet isolation
In the room of accountability a meeting to devise
An increase of profitability lacking hope in it’s design
Among us are invisible additions to our kind
Lured by hollow promises and stripped of civil rights
An eye for an eye and the pursuit of degradation
Let’s us blindly embody our issue of segregation
So we all lose faith and covet isolation
