This Flatt & Scruggs standard showed me the path out of Orange County, Calif. as a teenager. It took me back to a place I’d never been. We performed it as a standard Bluegrass set-up (banjo, fiddle, bass, mandolin and guitar). Matt sang it great; Jay was champing-at- the-bit to jump in with his fiddle licks; Andy’s solo pays homage to Jesse McReynolds, while we all channeled the Grand Old Opry circa 1950.
