“Brooklyn Crossing” was our first to record. As I explored a new D-minor guitar tuning, Amram and Jay jumped right in to put their icing on this guitar cake. When Skip set up the flow, it came together as if we were jamming in the kitchen. On playback, we realized how fortunate we were to use the Chesky process; it demonstrated how the label has mastered capturing sound.
