This version of Tainted Love is a cover of the classic single, reworked by Canadian rock songwriter and musician, John Mamone. The song was originally written by Ed Cobb of The Four Preps, and recorded by Gloria Jones in 1965. However the song is most recognized by the version recorded by Soft Cell in 1981, reaching number one in the UK, and has since been covered by many groups and artists.
