I wrote this after hearing a version of Flora The Lily Of The West. I was trying write a song that sounds cool like that, and since I’ve been known to write a story song every now and then, here’s the result. I met Joe Newberry in England a few years ago, and we had a great time singing together there. I knew he’d be the perfect fit for this song. I love it when I’m right.
