Biography

Born in London, raised in Nigeria. I returned to the U.K 19 years ago. I grew up listening to Michael Jackson, Kurtis blow, M.C.Hammer, L.L.Cool.J, Lionel Ritchie, Stevie Wonder, New Edition, Cameo and Bobby Brown. I started writing songs in 1997 following being inspired by D.C.Talk. I have since produced 3 E.Ps and 2 albums.
Joey.G uses the gift of music to communicate the gospel in pubs, clubs, school assemblies, workshops, fun-days, festivals, evangelistic and mission outreaches, newspapers, magazines, radio and t.v.
Joey.G has performed in Asia, Africa, Europe and Latin America. His music is currently going around the globe following the release of his new album "Breakthru-The Next Level".
