Electric Blues with Hot Rock and Funk Grooves!

The Jimmy Haggard Band is one of the top music acts in the Raleigh/Durham region, and is one the top bands on the ReverbNation Blues Charts (local, national and global), playing electric blues fused with hot rock and funk grooves. The core of the band includes: Jimmy Haggard (guitar/vocals) - Rodney Winley (bass) - Syneca Foster (drums).

Jimmy is a West Coast native who travelled around the United States' West Coast and Midwest, lived in Los Angeles California for over 20 years, and finally landed in Raleigh North Carolina, playing in honky tonks, clubs, bars, roadhouses, grange halls, community halls and festivals along the way. Jimmy has played in a few bands during his travels: Dirt Road, Sweet Rat, Power, Dreamers, Mister B, Rush Street and Hot Bones, and also performs as a solo acoustic musician.

Rodney is a North Carolina native who picked up the bass when he moved to New Jersey. He played jazz clubs in New Jersey and New York for a few years before heading back to North Carolina. Back in North Carolina, Rod hooked up with several R&B, rock and blues bands. In addition to playing bass in the Jimmy Haggard Band, Rodney works with jazz musicians ranging from Latin Jazz to Fusion.

Syneca is a North Carolina native who has been playing music for most of his life. He started playing regularly for church, and travels to represent his congregation and regional/national gospel conventions. Syneca is on call for major touring artists as they come through the region in need of backline musicians, and he has played with some of the best musicians in the area, playing R&B, Rock and Blues, plus he is a background vocalist.

Depending on the show, additional guest members of the Jimmy Haggard Band include: Sheldon Pugh (bass/keys), Garrison Hunter (keys), Lisa Lofchie (harmonica), George Gray (harmonica) and Gary Messenger (harmonica).
