I woke up this morning looked around the room
the alarm clock was wailing like the trumpets of doom
I've got to get up but it's much too soon

The water keeps on rising;
we can barely keep afloat.

I put on a tie, took the inside track;
now I'm rumbling like a train toward a heart attack.
