It was not a family matter started out as idle chatter
One thing led to another and all a sudden out it came
I usually keep my tongue in check, I’m generally so composed
What ever happened this time only heaven knows

It was a slip of the tongue could not be kept inside
It really needs splainin’ but now my tongue is tied
I can’t figure out just what I was thinkin’
The real crazy part is that I wasn’t even drinking
