Raylene
Raylene, All She Wrote, By Jim Gaudet

She scribbled for 15 pages but good bye was all she wrote

I came home late one night and when I opened up the door
I saw mess of papers lyin' on the Kitchen floor
At first it didn't make much sense
but then I almost died when I finally figured out Raylene
was saying goodbye
That's all she wrote, goodbye, That's all she wrote, goodbye goodbye was all she wrote

The last time I saw Raylene
she left skid marks in the drive
She left in an awful hurry
no time to explain why
She was mumbling something that I could not understand
Tears of fear were in her eyes and a bible was in her hand
