Jan Howard is a lady of rare talent and determination. She has the gift of communicating the emotions of life through her music. A successful writer, entertainer, and recording artist, Jan's love of life touches everyone she encounters.

On this album Jan sings several of her greatest hits, including "The One You Slip Around With", for which she received a prestigious "Grammy" nomination and "Bad Seed", another of her top hits.

Jan has been a member of the 'Grand Ole Opry' since she first came to Nashville in the early 1960's. She has been named Top Country Female Artist of the Year, as well as part of the CMA's Duet of the Year along with fellow "Opry" member Bill Anderson. She appeared as part of the Johnny Cash Show and Tammy Wynette Show.

In addition to her great hits included on this album, Jan recorded seven new songs, including her own "Life Of A Country Girl Singer" and "Cowboy's Last Ride', written by good friend Johnny Cash.

This collection of old and newly written songs demonstrates the style and ability that has made Jan Howard one of the great legends of the Country Music industry and First Generation Records is honored to present these sessions.
