What Will Become Of You
Life is short, and brutal, he said
Celebrations and happy catastrophes
And all we are is organized entropies
Living minerals and organic chemistries

We make love like animals, he said
Infatuated with healthy anatomy
Mystified by macro astronomy
We blindly follow our inborn biology

What will become of you?

When I go, don't wallow, he said
Just understand the true situation
And let it be your final education
It’s not divine but some stellar restoration

What a world to die on, he said
Becoming something useful and different
Every piece a part of the environment
Thank the stars I have found enlightenment
