Poison Ivy
She set her path ahead by the sun
Reaching out with both arms one by one
Now all of her roots had come undone
Like poison ivy she must run

She burns so slowly on me
And as I hold her I tear my skin
Her smoke is blinding to me
And as I breathe her I burn within
And she'll always win

Among the trees she turns and bends
Across the grass her legs extend
The fox and deer all call her friend
But like poison ivy she must end

Chorus

She blows with spring and summer rains
And never once complains
She fears the coldest winter snow
When she dies where does she go

She sets her path ahead by the moon
Does she know that her paths ending soon
